Below are are images taken from the 3D manufacturing of a C02 jet car body.  This process modeled 3D machining will be used to demonstrate for young people to see what local industry is not only capable of, but applying here and now.

The car body has been designed with CAD (computer aided design) software. Below are the images of the solid models which will be used later to create all the tool paths

CAM (computer aided machining) software is used to lay all the tool paths that are necessary to create the car body.

Paper prints are used for reference only with very few dimensions given.  With process modeling, there is no need for highly details prints.

3D milling equipment is used to machine the cars exterior.  Here we are milling the nose cone area.
